Uplift is seeking a Printing Operator for a technology-focused client in packaging, printing, and retail sectors. The role requires operating and setting up Flexographic and Offset printing machines with a strong emphasis on print quality and efficiency.

The candidate should have hands-on operator experience, a deep understanding of printing processes, and be willing to travel to customer sites for trials, installations, and commissioning.

Formación

• Five+ years of printing-industry experience.
• Hands-on experience as a Printing Operator.
• Strong knowledge of flexographic and offset printing.
• Understanding of printing processes and print-quality control.
• Technical qualification in Printing or related discipline.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and set up Flexographic and Offset printing machines.
• Perform job changeovers and plate/cylinder settings.
• Control registration, impression, ink, colour and machine parameters.
• Maintain print quality, colour density and production efficiency.
• Minimise wastage and maximise machine uptime.
• Work with plates, anilox rollers, doctor blades, blankets, cylinders, inks and substrates.
• Manage drying systems and web tension.
• Identify and resolve common printing defects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and adjustments.
• Support machine installation, trials, calibration, commissioning and breakdown resolution.

About Our Client

Our client is a technology company delivering innovative solutions tailored for businesses in packaging, printing, and retail industries.

The Printing Operator will join the Machine Assembly and Manufacturing Department and will be responsible for operating, setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining printing machines. The role will also support machine trials, installation and commissioning at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up Flexographic and Offset printing machines

Perform job changeovers and plate/cylinder settings

Control registration, impression, ink, colour and machine parameters

Maintain print quality, colour density and production efficiency

Requirements

Minimum five years of printing-industry experience

Hands-on experience as a Printing Operator is essential

Strong knowledge of both Flexographic and Offset printing

Good understanding of printing processes, machinery and print-quality control

Technical qualification in Printing, Graphic Technologies, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline

Experience with printing-equipment manufacturing is an advantage

English communication skills will be valued

Willingness to travel
