Uplift's client is a technology company delivering automation solutions for packaging and manufacturing. They seek an Automation Engineer for their Barcelona operations (Martorelles).

You will analyze, design, and program automation systems and help with start-up and commissioning. Responsibilities include developing PLC/SCADA programs, integrating external equipment, and providing technical support to after-sales.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, or Industrial Electronics (or related field).
• Proficiency in Codesys and PLC programming.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications/ Competencies

• Bachelors degree in Automation, Electrical, or Industrial Electronic Engineering (or related field).
• Proficiency in Codesys and PLC programming
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in machinery manufacturing or printing industry.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, ProfNet, CAN, Industrial Ethernet).
• Knowledge of servo drives, Motion controller and frequency converters.
• Experience with field (Profibus, CAN, Industrial Ethernet).
• Experience in industrial machinery programming
• Experience in inspection camera & vision system integration with machine

Reporting Line

Automation Engineer will be reporting to Head of the Automation Department
