EFI is seeking a Service Engineer (Industrial Engineering focus) in Almazora, Spain. The role involves preparing documentation, providing support, and ensuring proper installation and performance of EFI industrial inkjet printers.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and collaborate with engineering teams to drive product improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or similar.
• 0–3 years of experience in service engineering, maintenance, or industrial environments.
• Solid foundation in mechanical and electrical systems; PLC or control systems knowledge is a plus.
• Good level of English for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain documentation, manuals, and procedures for EFI industrial printers.
• Provide technical assistance for new and existing products.
• Create preventive maintenance and corrective repairs documentation for electro-mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic control-related issues.

We are looking for a Service Engineer (Industrial Engineering focus) to join our team in Almazora (Spain). This position is responsible for preparing documentation, giving support and service for EFI industrial inkjet printers, ensuring proper installation, maintenance, and performance of our equipment. The role combines mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a highly dynamic industrial environment, working closely with Field Service Engineer, Quality and assurance & R&D teams.

What You Will Do

• Create new documentation, manuals, procedures of EFI industrial printers
• Provide assistance for new products or existing ones
• Create preventive maintenance and corrective repairs documentation on complex electro-mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and basic control-related issues
• Provide technical support and assistance to Field Service and Customer Support teams
• Deliver operator training and maintenance guidance to FSEs
• Document all activities and findings through EFI service systems, ensuring accurate technical reporting
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify product improvements and implement corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement of service processes and documentationBuild strong relationships between departments, ensuring high levels of service quality

This Role Might Be a Good Fit If You

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Have 0–3 years of experience in service engineering, maintenance, or industrial environments
• Possess a solid foundation in:
  • Mechanical systems (components, alignment, maintenance)
  • Electrical systems (wiring, industrial components, troubleshooting)
• Are comfortable working in office & hands-on field environments
• Have a good level of English for international collaboration
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Are customer-focused with good communication skills
• Are willing to travel regularly to customers up to 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial experience in field service of industrial equipment or complex machinery
• Basic understanding of PLC or control systems
• Experience with technical documentation or service procedures
• Exposure to industrial printing, automation, or manufacturing environments

• Ability to work on-site at customer facilities, including industrial environments
• Capability to handle equipment installation tasks and physically demanding activities
• Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to customer schedules
