A leading data consultancy in Madrid is seeking a Principle Data Consultant to drive data strategies and oversee data management practices. Ideal candidates have expertise in AWS and Snowflake and are bilingual in Spanish and English. Responsibilities include defining data architecture standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading data-driven project implementations. This is a full-time role with 80% onsite work and 20% remote work expectations.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of European data and AI policy frameworks.
• Proven experience in data architecture standards and best practices.
• Ability to lead teams of Data Engineers and DBAs.

Responsabilidades

• Define organizational data strategy aligned with business processes.
• Coordinate with business units to understand analytics requirements.

Relevant Experience

• Define data architecture standards and establish best practices for data management. Research and suggest new tools/methods to improve data ingestion, storage, and access in analytics platforms.
• Develop and implement organizational data strategy aligned with business processes, including data model design, database standards, and management of data warehouses and analytics systems.
• Coordinate with business units to understand analytics requirements, design, and implement data ingestion (ETL/ELT processes).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for smooth data system operations.
• Lead teams of Data Engineers and DBAs in database design and development. Work closely with AWS engineering/support teams for issue resolution.
• Supervise data migration from legacy systems to AWS Cloud solutions.
• Plan and execute cloud solutions using AWS and Snowflake technologies.
• Ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and security through integrated functionalities.
• Conduct continuous audits of data management systems, refine processes as needed, and report breaches or issues to stakeholders.
