Elastic is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead Platform Infrastructure - Application Networking, guiding the evolution of Elastic Cloud networking including Ingress, private connectivity, DNS, and security controls. You will drive technical vision, architecture, and cross-organizational initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, own end-to-end designs, and partner with product management to shape roadmaps, while ensuring performance, reliability, and operability at scale.

Formación

• Deep expertise in application networking and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience driving designs from proposal to general availability.
• Proven ability to lead multi-quarter, cross-organizational initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Set technical direction for major application networking initiatives and own end-to-end designs.
• Lead development of Ingress, private connectivity, DNS, and security controls at scale for Elastic Cloud.
• Mentor engineers, act as SME, and drive reliability, performance, and operability improvements.
• Collaborate with product management and senior stakeholders on trade-offs and roadmap direction.
• Lead incident investigations and on-call rotations, improving platform resilience.
