Search AI Company is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join Platform Infrastructure - Application Networking and define the future of cloud networking for our data-driven platform. You will own designs for Ingress, private connectivity, DNS, and security controls at scale, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management to guide architectural decisions and roadmap.

This role requires a track record of building high-performance networking solutions and a passion for reliability

Responsabilidades

• Set the technical direction for major application networking initiatives, owning designs from proposal to GA.
• Lead development of Ingress, private connectivity, DNS, and security controls at scale for the cloud.
• Lead multi-quarter, cross-organizational projects and guide them to delivery.
• Improve operational quality; lead incident investigations and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor engineers, act as SME, and set the standard for how we build software.
• Advise PMs and engineers on technical trade-offs, feasibility, and roadmap direction.
• Identify security, stability, and cost improvements; simplify architecture across the platform.
