Job summary

T-Systems Iberia in Barcelona seeks a Principal Project Manager to lead data & analytics initiatives across the organization. You will orchestrate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and timelines, and drive the technology strategy in collaboration with senior management.

The role requires 10+ years in data/BI projects, strong communication with executives, and experience with Azure/AWS/GCP. hybrid work model in Spain is offered.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in data and business intelligence projects.
• Experience leading data areas or departments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/programs concurrently.
• Experience in economic management of projects and cost centers.
• Ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of agile and traditional PM methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects with deadlines, budget and quality.
• Lead and coordinate the Data area to meet strategic goals.
• Define and execute the data area tech strategy with management.
• Coordinate Data Engineering, Architecture, BI and Analytics teams.
• Oversee relationships with strategic customers as main interlocutor.
• Oversee budget, profitability, forecasting and cost control.
• Promote adoption of new data technologies and cloud services.
• Participate in pre-sales, proposals and business development.
• Establish standards and good practices for projects and teams.
