Westinghouse Nuclear is seeking 4 principal project engineers to drive the AP300 product development project in Madrid. The role requires extensive experience and involves managing project scopes, schedules, and being the main contact across technical areas. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in relevant engineering fields and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience on AP1000 or AP300 preferred.
• Cognizance in turbine island, piping layout, or digital design.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project schedule and budgeting.
• Lead point of contact for functional area leads.
• Represent discipline in product development review meetings.

Descripción del empleo

The AP Technology Deployment department is looking for 4 principal project engineers to deliver the AP300 product development project.

The project engineers will report to the AP300 Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follows :

• Work with support of Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution
• Responsible for the managing the schedule and budgeting
• Lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator
• Responsible for discipline representation in the Product Development Review Meeting (PDRM) discussed in Section 3.2
• Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as required

What we need to see from you :

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience previous experience on AP1000 or AP300 preferred
• Ability to travel internationally as projects require (up to / - 25% for peak times)
• Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas :
• Turbine Island / Balance of Plant systems or structural design
• NSSS components design and analyses
• Piping layout and / or analysis
• Licensing
• Digital Design (configuration control)
• Civil Structural and Architectural engineering
• Effective oral and written communications

Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas
