A technology company in the iGaming sector is seeking a Principal Java Engineer to resolve technical incidents, design backend solutions, and collaborate on improvements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Java development, Kubernetes, and understanding of wallet systems. This remote role offers an opportunity to work on high-performance platforms from Spain.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Java development and software engineering.
• Experience with wallet systems and transactional systems is critical.
• Experience with systems under load.

Principal Java Engineer – iGaming Industry

Location: Remote from Spain (Spanish employment contract)

Your Responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical incidents and performance issues in Java applications, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable backend solutions with a strong focus on system stability.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects to identify opportunities for technical improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with wallet systems, transactional systems, and concurrent transactions is critical.
• Experience with systems under load.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development and software engineering.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes environment.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL.
• Experience working with Kafka.
• Experience working with distributed cache systems.
• Experience with on-premise systems (e.g., designing systems without public cloud services).
• 5+ iGaming industry experience is a must.
• At least B2 level of English.
