Project Overview:
You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team working on the development and optimization of geospatial tools for a precision agriculture platform. The client leverages remote sensing, cloud computing, and agronomic science to deliver decision-ready data to growers, insurers, and partners across the agricultural industry. Your main focus will be on developing scalable geospatial services using technologies such as GeoServer, PostGIS, and Google BigQuery, with full lifecycle responsibility — from ingestion and processing to analysis, visualization, and integration into production systems. Collaboration with software engineers, agronomists, and data scientists is key, as well as deployment on GCP and AWS infrastructure.
