Formación

• Significant experience reviewing consultant designs and contractor documentation.
• Experience with tender documentation for data centre projects.
• Experience in project commissioning preferred but not essential.

Descripción del empleo

The Principal Delivery Engineer is the liaison between the Delivery team, including the Engineering team based in London, and the Madrid data centre campus teams. You will oversee and coordinate projects from RIBA Stage 3 through to completion and handover, ensuring they meet all technical standards. Additionally, you will assist the team in keeping projects within budget and on schedule. This role offers a unique opportunity to build relationships with internal teams, consultants, and contractors, guiding projects through to real-world installation and developing a broad skill set.

Responsibilities include :

• Ensuring project compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and government / local authority regulations.
• Leading the delivery of design and supporting consultants in achieving cost-effective and resilient designs.
• Providing technical support and guidance throughout all project lifecycle stages.
• Conducting project reviews and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Facilitating communication across project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to foster innovation.
• Excellent technical knowledge of data centre systems.
• Significant experience reviewing consultant designs and contractor construction documentation to ensure compliance with design briefs.
• Experience in reviewing or preparing tender documentation for data centre projects.
• Experience in project commissioning is preferred but not essential.
