We are seeking a candidate to work closely with one of our main clients in the financial sector.
Main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs and design optimal solutions, promoting a data-driven culture.
- Leading strategic prototyping workshops for better understanding of objectives through quick feedback loops.
- Collaborating across Global Technology Shared Services to implement successful solutions.
- Understanding approaches for building self-service BI versus corporate BI solutions, including data source selection and ETL strategies.
- Driving reporting efficiencies by standardizing practices and creating sharing platforms, including training for Power BI report designers, data modelers, and consumers.
- Acting as a Power BI product evangelist, staying updated with technological advancements, and advising on Power Platform use cases.
- Contributing to the Power Platform center of excellence to establish governance structures.
- Assessing adoption and customer satisfaction collaboratively with product teams and UX specialists.
- Being a proactive change ambassador with a creative approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications include:
- Over 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer, skilled in data analysis, modeling, and ETL process design.
- Experience in performance tuning and handling large data volumes.
- Deep understanding of enterprise big data architectures.
- Extensive experience in developing reporting and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, SSAS, Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, and Power Platform solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure platform security models.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level) for international collaboration.
Nice to have:
- Experience in building reporting governance frameworks and driving organizational adoption.
- Experience with SAFe practices.
- Knowledge of data interfaces such as APIs, Snowflake, various database and file formats, and data quality approaches.
