Akuaro is seeking a Principal Architect to design and implement the architecture for next-generation products and services in Barcelona. You’ll work closely with the VP of Engineering, translating concepts into scalable systems and overseeing technical direction.

This hands-on role emphasizes innovation, collaboration across product and engineering teams, and delivering production-ready solutions with a long-term vision. Hybrid work with onsite days in Barcelona.

Formación

• Partner with the VP of Engineering to design architecture for new products and services.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand business needs and propose technical solutions.
• Explore and validate new technologies, including AI applications, and maintain proofs of concept.
• Serve as a technical reference point for complex architectural challenges.
• Contribute to the modernization of existing systems and propose forward-thinking solutions.
• Work autonomously with strong DevOps support and freedom to choose technologies when justified.

• Proven experience designing and building scalable, high-traffic systems.
