eDreams ODIGEO in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Architect to join our Architect Team. This hybrid role focuses on delivering high-performance, maintainable web platforms used across multiple markets, reporting to the Chief Architect and guiding the technical evolution of the platform.

You'll lead micro frontends, mentor engineers, and collaborate with numerous teams to scope ideas from backlogs.

Formación

• 8+ years frontend development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, etc.).
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in software coding, design patterns, architecture, and performance engineering.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.

• Be the go-to person of developers for all technical questions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (~30-50 developers). Help business and product in scoping and phasing ideas already in their backlogs.

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Architect to join our Architect Team in Barcelona. Our platform serves millions of daily transactions across more than 40 countries and requires high performance and maintainability. Reporting to the Chief Architect, you will provide technical solutions, collaborate with development teams, business, product, and other architects, and lead the technical evolution of the platform.

What you will do

• Drive the technical evolution of one or more micro frontends in our platform.
• Be the go‑to person of developers for all technical questions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (~30-50 developers).
  Help business and product in scoping and phasing ideas already in their backlogs.
• Mentor senior engineers in their technical growth.
• Work with other architects on cross‑team, company‑level technical initiatives.

What you need to succeed

Job Requirements

• 8+ years frontend development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, etc.).
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in software coding, design patterns, architecture, and performance engineering.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical people.
• Assertiveness and influencing: able to get your point across and challenge others calmly and positively.

Nice to have

• Experience designing micro frontends.
• Experience with machine learning systems.
• Experience in big multi‑language/country e‑commerce websites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI‑powered coding assistants).
• Experimentation mindset: curiosity and eagerness to experiment with emerging AI‑driven solutions.
• AI‑enhanced problem solving: effectively leverage AI tools to debug code and streamline development.
• Adaptability and learning agility: enthusiastic about learning and adapting to new AI features.
• Collaboration with AI: experience interacting closely with AI tools as “pair programmers.”
