Capitole is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a global technology team and build scalable, secure web solutions across backend and frontend spaces. You will design, develop, and maintain modern applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Full Stack experience, strong API design, and fluency in English and Spanish. This hybrid position includes on-site days in Barcelona and remote work flexibility.

Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a global technology team and contribute to building scalable, secure and high-performing digital solutions that deliver real business value. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain modern web applications, collaborating with multiple engineering teams across shared codebases and digital platforms. You will work on solutions focused on performance, scalability, security, maintainability and cost optimisation in a collaborative international Agile environment. What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services.
• Build modern, responsive frontend applications.
• Design, develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams working on shared codebases.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and software quality best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and continuously improve application performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Work throughout the entire software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
• Must Have 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong experience developing backend applications.
• Strong frontend experience.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (unit, integration and UI testing).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory.
• Nice to Have Experience with Next.js.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs.
• Experience working in large-scale international engineering organisations.
• Nice to Have Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and Java applications.
