Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Managing AI Architect / Principal AI Architect to own the AI architecture for its largest client programmes. You will oversee architectures spanning foundation models, data platforms, and AI agents, with cross-functional collaboration across Azure, AWS and GCP.

You will shape solutions, estimate delivery effort, assess risks, and define commercial assumptions while ensuring security, privacy and Responsible AI adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution, enterprise, platform or cloud architecture.
• Designing and delivering AI/ML, Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions in production environments.
• Proven experience owning complex enterprise architecture programmes and governing architecture decisions.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience with executive-level stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience with at least one hyperscaler AI ecosystem (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Demonstrated success in solution shaping, large-scale pursuits and delivery governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI architecture for Capgemini's largest client programmes across AI, RAG, and knowledge systems.
• Lead architecture deliverables from pursuit to production, ensuring security, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
• Advise senior stakeholders on AI strategy, platform selection and enterprise roadmaps across major cloud providers.
• Establish reference architectures, governance, and guardrails including Responsible AI and regulatory compliance.
• Drive delivery readiness, design details, and remediation of architecture deviations.
• Mentor architects and contribute to Capgemini thought leadership and alliances.
