SEK International School Santa Isabel in Madrid seeks a Primary English Teacher to join its academic team with immediate availability. You will deliver high-quality English instruction to Primary students in a bilingual, international environment.

The role requires a degree in Primary Education, native English, and experience with IB PYP; you will plan lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues to support inclusive, student-centred learning.

Formación

• Must hold a recognised Primary Education degree or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Primary Education.
• Native-level English language of instruction.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Experience in bilingual, international or IB environments.
• Knowledge of Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Primary Education lessons in English.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, adapting and differentiating learning according to their individual needs.
• Work closely with teaching and support teams.
• Actively participate in school projects and activities.
• Support different learning environments across the school when required.

Requirements

• University degree in Primary Education or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous teaching experience in Primary Education.
• Native-level English proficiency, as English is the language of instruction.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to different educational needs.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centred education and to the safeguarding, wellbeing and holistic development of students.
• Experience in bilingual, international or IB school environments.
• Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Knowledge of Spanish.

We Offer

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:50 a.m. to 5:10 p.m.
• Start date: As soon as possible.
