Overview

LEVEL is a long-haul airline based in Barcelona and part of the IAG group. The objective of the LEVEL Revenue Management team is to maximise revenue per seat flown by optimising pricing and inventory in a competitive environment. The team's primary responsibility is to meet targets by determining the right price at any time, for any product and customer type. Part of the daily challenge is the continuous search for process improvements and market insights to identify revenue opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define the pricing and inventory strategy for each route by season and point of sale. Update the strategy based on results and market analysis.
  • Monitor competition in terms of tactical pricing and product offering.
  • Set overbooking parameters to generate additional revenue from no-show passengers.
  • Generate a revenue forecast for each route to define strategy changes and alert other teams.
  • Support the area with various analyses based on identified commercial opportunities.
  • Define the prices for sales campaigns and coordinate the strategy with the Marketing/Commerce department according to the needs of each route.

Bring in new ideas to improve or simplify the actual procedures of the area.

Education
  • Academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
Experience

While previous experience is not required, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Projects, coursework, or internships demonstrating analytical skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying analytical methods in a business context.
