The Solution Consultant - FSI (Financial Services) is a Pre-Sales role responsible for understanding customer challenges and requirements, providing technical expertise, and supporting sales with presentations, demos, and value messaging about the Workiva platform. The role involves developing solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept to demonstrate the value of Workiva solutions.

This position supports our Sales Team across Banks, Insurance, and Investment firms, working with complex Financial Institutions. The role has opened due to growth in our FSI client base, which relies on Workiva for Financial & Regulatory Reporting, Sustainability, and GRC.

What You'll Do

  • Interact with customers to identify needs and develop solutions using Workiva products.
  • Consult with customers to understand challenges and requirements.
  • Create custom demo solutions and conduct process assessments.
  • Build Proof of Concepts and business cases to demonstrate impact and value.
  • Assist in developing new use-cases and leveraging existing templates.
  • Manage projects and relationships with larger customers.
  • Gather and share feedback from engagements to improve services and products.
  • Support sales in developing account plans aligned with Workiva strategies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Workiva products through ongoing training.

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in financial services, software, consulting, or related roles.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Financial Services, Bank or Financial Reporting platforms.
  • Understanding of Statutory Accounting Standards and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Experience presenting to business and IT managers.
  • Ability to deliver compelling software demonstrations.
  • Experience with SaaS, enterprise sales, data management, and business intelligence technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

  • Up to 40% travel for meetings.
