The primary goal of WHOCOUNTS is to collect and analyze data on those 'missing' from income surveys used in official poverty statistics. The successful candidate will develop their own project to better understand underrepresented populations and improve policy interventions in Europe. Responsibilities include data analysis, collaboration, authorship, administrative duties, and event organization.
The PhD will be conducted at UAB, located in Cerdanyola del Valles, Barcelona, with excellent facilities and career development opportunities. The candidate will be based in the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, affiliated with IGOP. The start date is between September and December 2025, for a duration of three years, with a dedicated training budget.
Gross salary: €21,000 for the first two years, €22,500 for the third year. Social security included.
