About your role
Your research will focus on analyzing cold-formed steel members under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Casariego. You will develop a thesis related to using cold-formed steel arches for roofing, learning about simulation principles via Finite Element Method (FEM) and Yield Line Theory.
You will study building structural behavior and utilize various calculation software, from simple 2D tools to complex 3D finite element analysis with programs like ANSYS.
