ABB is seeking a Validation Engineer for its Robotics division in Spain and Switzerland. You will ensure quality and reliability of autonomous mobile robot software releases by executing validation scenarios on robotic platforms and documenting results.

You will investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to verify fixes, while enhancing test automation and workflows across multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with robotic platforms for testing, integration or troubleshooting.
• Strong Python programming and Linux experience.
• Experience with validation or testing activities and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with ROS and AMRs is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and document validation activities for new features, bug fixes, and software releases on robotic platforms.
• Investigate test failures, reproduce issues, and work with developers to identify root causes and verify fixes.
• Maintain and extend manual and automated test suites, expanding automation coverage with the test team.
• Continuously improve validation workflows, test environments and release readiness criteria.
