Join our team as a Pre-Sales Engineer in Spain and support the local Sales team by providing technical expertise and demonstrations that showcase the value of our healthcare communication solutions. This role is essential in guiding customers through the technical side of our offerings, ensuring the right fit and long-term success.

Your Contributions

  • Work closely with the Sales Team and resellers to provide internal and external technical support and expert training during pre- and post-sales stages
  • Prepare technical details and engineering requirements for quotations
  • Contribute to marketing planning and the technical development of products and services
  • Deliver specifications and documentation for engineering and architectural firms Coordinate technical proposals and customer-specific requirements across multiple levels
  • Analyze and prepare quotations and tailored solution proposals
  • Support the Sales Team in expanding the customer pipeline
  • Provide early feedback to Product Managers on customer needs and new market trends
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological developments
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support as needed
  • Drive ongoing process improvement across technical presales activities
  • Ensure continuous improvement actions are taken in response to customer issues or process gaps
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the role

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate degree or 1–5 years of experience with Ascom products or similar
  • IT / telecom / wireless technologies (e.g., DECT, 802.11)
  • Entry-level wireless (CWNA) or networking certifications (CCNA) are a plus
  • 1–5 years of customer support experience via phone, email, and web-based systems
  • 1–5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server, telecom systems (Cisco, Avaya), or networking hardware
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge : networking (TCP / IP), wireless, telephony
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems
  • Solid understanding of Ascom’s solution portfolio (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer orientation and team collaboration
  • Fluent English required

    Tus responsabilidades

  • Colaborar con el equipo de ventas y distribuidores para proporcionar soporte técnico y formación especializada en fases de preventa y postventa
  • Preparar documentación técnica y requisitos de ingeniería para presupuestos
  • Contribuir a la planificación de marketing y al desarrollo técnico de soluciones
  • Elaborar especificaciones técnicas para estudios de ingeniería y arquitectura
  • Coordinar propuestas técnicas adaptadas a los requisitos del cliente
  • Analizar necesidades técnicas y preparar soluciones a medida
  • Apoyar al equipo comercial en la generación y desarrollo de oportunidades
  • Proporcionar retroalimentación sobre tendencias emergentes y requisitos del cliente
  • Mantenerse actualizado sobre desarrollos técnicos e innovaciones del sector
  • Brindar soporte remoto y en sitio cuando sea necesario Impulsar mejoras continuas en los procesos de preventa
  • Asegurar la correcta gestión de incidencias o reclamaciones técnicas de clientes
  • Cumplir con las normativas de salud, seguridad y medio ambiente vigentes
  • Perfil ideal

    Cualificaciones y experiencia

  • Título técnico o experiencia de 1 a 5 años con productos Ascom o tecnologías similares en IT, telecomunicaciones o redes inalámbricas (DECT, 802.11)
  • Certificaciones básicas de redes o wireless (CWNA, CCNA) valoradas positivamente
  • 1 a 5 años de experiencia en soporte técnico al cliente
  • Experiencia en sistemas Windows Server, telefonía (Cisco, Avaya) o hardware de redes

    Habilidades y competencias

  • Conocimientos sólidos en redes (TCP / IP), wireless, telefonía
  • Manejo de sistemas operativos Microsoft Server y Desktop
  • Conocimiento del portafolio Ascom (valorable)
