Overview

PR & Brand Officer role at Nickel Spain, Madrid, Spain. Nickel is a start-up belonging to the BNP Paribas Group, focused on fighting financial exclusion with an accessible service. Nickel operates with ~2,300 Nickel Points in Spain as part of its growth in the country. The PR & Brand Officer will report directly to the CMO Nickel Spain.

Responsibilities

• Implement a PR strategy cocreated with agencies / collaborators to develop brand awareness and notoriety in Nickel Spain.
• Adapt the central Brand guidelines, monitoring campaigns and communications to ensure consistency and proper brand positioning in Spain across online and offline channels.
• Act as the Brand identity ambassador for Nickel Spain in B2C communications and at points of sale (PoS).
• Manage external PR agency and daily activities; supervise press releases, press events, executive quotes, and other PR content.
• Build a PR strategy aligned to company vision and objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with key influencers to build a brand community.
• Monitor trends and sector activity to identify editorial and growth opportunities.
• Identify and manage activities and campaigns with Partners, Associations and NGOs.

Requirements

• Studies: Degree in Journalism or Communications.
• Experience: +2 years or previous experience in similar roles.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.
