Formación

Job Description

AVL is searching for candidates to work within the facilities of a major customer in Valladolid, integrating the customer performance team on-site.

This position reports to the Global Powertrain Performance Leader and the Powertrain Performance Leader, focusing on:

• Driveability
• Fuel efficiency & pollutant emissions
• NVH (noise, vibration, harshness)

The Powertrain Performance Leader is responsible for:

• Monitoring, evaluating, and providing final opinions on areas such as:
• Driveability and performance
• Fuel efficiency, pollutant emissions, and OBD
• NVH (noise, vibration, harshness)
• Leading the convergence of gasoline and hybrid development in these performance areas
• Ensuring that cost reduction initiatives in serial-life do not compromise powertrain performance

Additionally, the Global Powertrain Performance Leader is responsible for:

• Leading a team of experts to meet development targets for new engines and vehicles
• Synthesizing management with PPCs emissions/consumption, drivability, and NVH
• Representing a unified voice on all performance aspects to the project manager
• Reporting to the Quality team and during project development

Profile Requirements:

• Proficiency in English and Spanish; French is a plus
• Engineering degree or similar; Master’s degree is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in PWT calibration or related fields
• Knowledge of powertrain performance metrics (fuel efficiency, emissions, drivability, NVH)
• Project management skills (timing, quality, reporting)
• High responsibility, goal orientation, and teamwork skills
• Extra-curricular activities like Formula Student are advantageous
• Knowledge of Matlab is desirable
• Driving license required
