A leading automotive technology company is seeking a Design Engineer in Valladolid, Spain. You will define project requirements and lead design modifications. Ideal candidates will have strong CATIA skills, a degree in design or mechanical engineering, and knowledge of the automotive sector. Formación

• Define development needs for incoming projects based on inputs.
• Design and lead modifications with the design team.
• Track packaging issues and lead resolutions in the factory.

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What You Will Do

• Charge of defining what needs to be developed or modified in the organ for incoming projects based on project manager inputs.
• Design and lead design modifications, proposals and iterations with the rest of design team from upstream phase until the sop.
• Have to track every single KI from packaging point of view based on Horse Standards.
• Have to deal with all assembly problems in vehicle factory and will have to lead the resolution of them.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in Design Activities.
• A minimum education level of Certificate of Higher Education (FPII); a Bachelor’s or Degree in Design Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Excellent skills in CATIA (Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Sheet Metal, Assembly Design) and ISO GD&T application.
• Strong competencies in design of assemblies and sub-assemblies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
