Descripción del empleo

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Trading Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing various operations in the Spanish Electricity Market (OMIE and REE) according to defined strategies.

Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenues and value of power portfolio and intraday / ancillary services trading activities within controlled risk parameters.

• Operate in day-ahead, intraday, and ancillary services markets.

Optimize energy in different markets, monitor production in real-time, and follow up on RRTT constraints and discharge operations.

You will also be responsible for operating and controlling the Generation Control Center, regulating zone, and energy balancing of assets (generation, storage, and demand response).

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Graduate or intermediate degree in industrial engineering in energy or industrial processes.
• 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the Spanish Electricity Market.
• Programming skills in languages like Python, R, or VBA.
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
• Knowledge of OMIE & REE markets.
• Analytical and synthesis skills, process-oriented approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results as part of a team.
