Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Escobar group. The successful candidate will synthesize and characterize hybrid systems combining synthetic host-guest complexes and biological oligomers, and explore their biomedical applications.

Responsibilities include synthesis, training graduate students, writing progress reports, and presenting results at meetings and conferences.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field at contract start.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Less than 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
• Experience in organic synthesis, chromatography and spectroscopic techniques.

Responsabilités

• Synthesize and characterize hybrid oligomers and study their properties.
• Supervise and train students and contribute to skill development.
• Write progress reports and draft manuscripts for publication.
• Assist in manuscript revisions and proposal preparation.
• Present findings at group meetings and conferences.
• Participate in outreach activities.
