The Autonomous University of Madrid invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Organic Chemistry. The candidate will propose retrosynthetic analyses for targeted compounds, synthesize starting materials, and optimize catalytic methodologies in the laboratory.

The role also includes analyzing chemical samples using NMR, MS, and HPLC, performing literature searches, and contributing to project planning and reporting in a dynamic research team.

Qualifications

• Background in synthesis of organic molecules of medium/high complexity and organometallic catalysis.
• Experience with standard analytical methods (NMR, MS, HPLC).
• Knowledge of Schlenk techniques; photocatalysis is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Propose retrosynthetic analyses for targeted compounds and their laboratory-scale application.
• Synthesize starting materials and optimize catalytic methodologies.
• Analyze chemical compounds using standard methods (NMR, MS, HPLC) and literature search.
