Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher to join our laboratory as part of an interdisciplinary project focused on the discovery and therapeutic application of structured RNA molecules. The project aims to design and optimize RNA aptamers, synthetic riboswitches, and innovative RNA delivery systems for applications in cancer therapy and immunomodulation.
This position is part of a dynamic and collaborative research environment with access to cutting-edge technologies and strong links to both translational programs and industry partners.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in RNA biology, molecular design, or RNA structure–function analysis, and a strong interest in developing innovative RNA-based therapeutic tools.
Responsibilities
·Design and selection of RNA aptamers targeting tumor-associated molecules.
·Engineering of structured RNA molecules, including synthetic riboswitches for gene regulation.
·Development and testing of targeted RNA delivery platforms in cellular and in vivo models.
·Conduct structure–function studies using biochemical, biophysical, and cellular techniques.
·Contribute to the preparation of grant applications and project proposals.
·Disseminate results through peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and team meetings.
·Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative lab environment.
Requirements
·PhD (or near completion) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
·Experience with RNA-based techniques (e.g., in vitro transcription, EMSA, SHAPE, SELEX, NGS).
·Familiarity with RNA structure prediction/modeling and/or RNA delivery systems is a plus.
·Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
