Offer Description

About the Project

The BioFLEX Project focuses on the development of flexible nanofibrous hydroxyapatite ceramic membranes and scaffolds with tunable stiffness for applications in tissue regeneration. It aims to uncover how variations in mechanical stiffness can enhance cellular behavior and accelerate tissue repair.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher for a full-time position to contribute to the BioFLEX Project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and will support ongoing cell culture studies involving nanofibrous ceramic membranes and scaffolds with adjustable stiffness. The primary objective is to explore how stiffness modulates cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation, ultimately linking mechanical properties to biological performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience with cell culture: adhesion, proliferation and differentiation assays on 2D/3D substrates
  • Experience in common molecular biology techniques: PCR, digital PCR, electrophoresis, ELISA, plasma nucleic acid isolation, flow cytometry.
  • Experience in fluorescence confocal microscopy methods and quantitative data analysis.
  • Experience in mechanobiology is highly advantageous
