The Centre for Automation and Robotics (CAR-CSIC-UPM) and the Seville Institute of Microelectronics (IMSE-CSIC) are offering a two year fully-funded Postdoc position in Artificial Intelligence.
The position requires the Postdoc to present a research proposal that explores advanced methodologies for adversarial generative AI models in the context of CPHS, and novel approaches for reliability analysis and life estimation in cyber-physical-human systems using digital twins. We are seeking innovative research proposals that explore advanced methodologies for adversarial generative AI models in the context of CPHS, and novel approaches for reliability analysis and life estimation in cyber-physical-human systems using digital twins.
The position is offered in the context of the ALLIES postdoctoral training program in Artificial Intelligence led by the Spanish National Research Council, coordinated through the AIHUB Connection, and co-funded by the European Union under the HORIZON EUROPE MSCA COFUND program framework. ALLIES aims to recruit 17 postdoctoral researchers in 3 different Calls who will conduct interdisciplinary and intersectorial research in Artificial Intelligence aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The candidates will be working with Dr. Rodolfo Haber (CAR) and Dr. Teresa Serrano (IMSE). He / she will spend one year at each research institute and will be part of a vibrant and interdisciplinary ALLIES community.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the MSCA COFUND rules :
Mobility rule : Researchers may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work or studies) in Spain for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the date of the call deadline.
Degree rule : Researchers must be in possession of a doctoral degree at the deadline of the program's call (1 June 2025). Researchers who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but not yet formally have been awarded the doctoral degree will also be considered as postdoctoral researchers.
