Job summary

The NanoTherapies Lab at IQS – Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with a strong background in organic chemistry and polymer synthesis. You will design, synthesize and characterize innovative polymers for advanced nanocarriers used for RNA delivery, and contribute to biomedical applications with emphasis on biocompatibility and efficacy.

Qualifications

• PhD in Organic Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry or closely related discipline.
• Strong synthesis and polymer chemistry background with biomedical relevance.
• Experience in polymer purification and characterization is highly valued.
• Good command of English in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Design, synthesize and characterize functional polymers for nanocarriers.
• Develop and optimize polymer synthesis and functionalization protocols.
• Characterize polymers structurally and physicochemically.
• Formulate polymer-based nanoparticles for RNA delivery.
• Investigate polymer structure–property relationships and nanoparticle performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers and assist supervision.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
