Job summary

Principe Felipe Research Center seeks a predoctoral researcher to join the ERC MORPHEUS project. You will contribute to design, synthesis, functionalisation, and characterisation of novel polymeric materials for advanced therapies, planning and performing polymer synthesis and related purification techniques.

Requirements include MSc in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Materials Science or related field, excellent English, and experience with lab instrumentation for

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold MSc degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• Advanced knowledge of nanomedicine and polymeric therapies, together with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
• Practical experience in the use of laboratory instrumentation for the synthesis and characterisation of polymeric materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute polymer synthesis and functionalisation strategies.
• Apply purification and characterisation techniques to study materials.
• Analyse and interpret experimental results and report findings.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to ERC MORPHEUS project activities.
• Ensure compliance with scientific standards and project practices.
