Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Mobile Architect (POS-Terminal) to design and lead the architecture of our POS terminal solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring security, scalability, performance, and reliability of POS systems and related apps, including mobile apps for repair scheduling.

You will shape the technical direction with cross-functional teams, applying EMV standards and driving best practices in Android native and cross-platform development.

Formación

• 8+ years of system design and development in POS terminals.
• Strong Android Native development expertise (Java/Kotlin).
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development (e.g., Flutter) and familiarity with C/JavaScript.
• Deep EMV security knowledge including chip transactions, encryption, and key management.
• Hardware integration experience with POS devices (card readers, pin pads, printers).
• Understanding of payment systems architecture and gateways.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance in financial systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and architecture of POS terminal solutions ensuring security, scalability, performance, and hardware integration.
• Develop and maintain architectural docs and diagrams for POS systems.
• Make architectural decisions on POS software, integrating payment technologies and EMV compliance.
• Lead development of POS-related applications.
• Optimize system performance and security around payment processing.
• Participate in planning with product/engineering to meet market needs.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices for mobile and embedded systems.
• Define and enforce software engineering standards across POS teams.
• Ensure stability and reliability of POS products and monitor performance.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams.
• Participate in hiring for POS engineers with expertise in mobile and embedded development.
