A global technology company is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee investments in VC and PE funds. The role involves managing the portfolio, building relationships, and conducting due diligence. Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a global technology company that develops apps at the intersection of dating, social, and entertainment. The company's portfolio includes 70 social discovery platforms focusing on AI, game mechanics, and video streaming. We actively support and invest in social discovery startups worldwide through our CVC fund.

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join Social Discovery Ventures. SDV is a global investment management company with investments in 27 Venture Capital and 5 private equity funds, including NEA, Khosla Ventures, and DCM, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Managing the portfolio of VC and PE fund investments;
2. Building strategic relationships with portfolio funds and addressing arising issues;
3. Overseeing new fund investments, including due diligence and deal-closing processes;
4. Presenting potential deals to the Investment Committee;
5. Tracking quarterly performance of the VC / PE fund portfolio.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in VC and PE funds;
• Understanding of VC fund structures;
• Market research and sizing skills;
• Analytical thinking capabilities;
• Deal negotiation skills and experience.
