Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a global technology company that builds apps at the intersection of dating, social, and entertainment. The company's portfolio includes 70 social discovery platforms with a focus on AI, game mechanics, and video streaming. We actively support and invest in social discovery startups worldwide through our CVC fund.

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join Social Discovery Ventures. Social Discovery Ventures (SDV) is a global investment management company. SDV has invested in 27 Venture Capital and 5 private equity funds, including NEA, Khosla Ventures, and DCM, fostering a thriving ecosystem of innovation and growth.

Your main tasks will be:

  1. Manage the portfolio of VC and PE funds investments;
  2. Build strategic relationships with portfolio funds. Investigate arising issues;
  3. Oversee new funds investments. Manage due diligence and deal-closing processes;
  4. Present potential deals to the Investment Committee;
  5. Track the quarterly performance of the portfolio VC / PE funds.

We expect from you:

  1. 3+ years of relevant experience in VC, PE funds;
  2. Familiar with VC funds structure;
  3. Market research and sizing skills;
  4. Analytical thinking;
  5. Deal negotiation skills and experience.

In other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
  8. Internal gamified gratitude system: receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for time off, merch, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.
