Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a global technology company that develops apps at the intersection of dating, social, and entertainment sectors. Its portfolio includes 70 social discovery platforms, emphasizing AI, game mechanics, and video streaming. The company also invests in social discovery startups worldwide through its CVC fund.

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join Social Discovery Ventures (SDV), a global investment management firm. SDV has invested in 27 Venture Capital and 5 private equity funds, including notable firms like NEA, Khosla Ventures, and DCM, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and growth.

Your main tasks will be :

1. Manage the portfolio of VC and PE fund investments.
2. Build strategic relationships with portfolio funds and investigate arising issues.
3. Oversee new fund investments, manage due diligence, and deal-closing processes.
4. Present potential deals to the Investment Committee.
5. Track quarterly performance of the VC/PE fund portfolio.

We expect from you :

1. At least 3 years of relevant experience in VC and PE funds.
2. Familiarity with VC fund structures.
3. Strong market research and sizing skills.
4. Analytical thinking capabilities.
5. Deal negotiation experience and skills.
