Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a global technology company specializing in apps at the intersection of dating, social, and entertainment. Its portfolio includes 70 social discovery platforms, emphasizing AI, game mechanics, and video streaming. The company also invests in social discovery startups worldwide through its CVC fund.

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join Social Discovery Ventures (SDV), a global investment management firm. SDV has invested in 27 Venture Capital and 5 private equity funds, including NEA, Khosla Ventures, and DCM, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and growth.

Your main tasks will be:

1. Manage the portfolio of VC and PE fund investments;
2. Build strategic relationships with portfolio funds and investigate arising issues;
3. Oversee new fund investments, manage due diligence, and deal-closing processes;
4. Present potential deals to the Investment Committee;
5. Track the quarterly performance of the VC/PE fund portfolio.

We expect from you:

1. At least 3 years of relevant experience in VC or PE funds;
2. Understanding of VC fund structures;
3. Market research and sizing skills;
4. Strong analytical thinking;
5. Deal negotiation skills and experience.
