Moffatt & Nichol seeks a Mid-level Port Planner for their Ports team. This role focuses on terminal planning and operational analysis across various locations in Europe and worldwide. Successful candidates will have a strong background in container terminal planning, possess analytical skills, and be prepared for occasional travel. Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a Mid-level Port Planner to join our Ports team and can be located in our Rotterdam, Hamburg, Valencia, or Algeciras offices. As part of the Planner Group, the Port Planner will assist in the preparation of terminal layouts delineating operational areas such as the quay, container storage, rail intermodal yard, auxiliary operational facilities, and gate for various type of container terminal operations.They will also assist in performing quantitative static and dynamic capacity analysis of each are of the ports operations.

Working conditions :
The projects are mainly are in Europe but as a Port Planner, you will support projects in any part of the world if needed. Therefore the willingness to travel outside the home office is required. (~15% of the time). As we do support clients in different time zone online meetings, may take place outside the regular business hours.
Physical requirements :
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
