Formación

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on port equipment, including electric terminal tractors, small port machinery, and cranes;
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal operating conditions;
• Quickly identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.

Customer Support & Service

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to port operators and clients;
• Train customers on proper equipment operation, battery management, and preventive maintenance;
• Build strong customer relationships through professional, efficient, and responsive service.

Technical Reporting & Documentation

• Accurately document each service case, including diagnostics, repair logs, and inspection records;
• Utilize digital tools and software to record equipment performance and service data;
• Provide feedback from the field to engineering and technical teams for product improvements.

Parts & Inventory Management

• Assist in identifying and ordering spare parts, and participate in inventory management to enhance service efficiency;
• Ensure proper care and use of maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.

Compliance & Safety

• Strictly follow company and industry safety standards during all service tasks;
• Ensure that all service activities comply with environmental, electrical, and port-related safety regulations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or repair of electric vehicles, heavy machinery, or port equipment;
• Technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, automotive engineering, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

• Solid understanding of electric drive systems, CAN-bus communication, diagnostics, and electrical systems;
• Ability to read electrical schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation;
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting;
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).

Other Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility, and attention to detail;
• Based in Algeciras, and willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed, especially to ports such as Valencia and Barcelona.
