Descripción del empleo

Your mission :

• Develop and maintain PLC programs using structured text (mainly Codesys platform for WAGO PLCs).
• Develop PLC-HMI interfaces.
• Configure hardware of the PLC system, including input/output modules and communication interfaces.
• Test and debug PLC programs and systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for photovoltaic power plants, mainly in the Iberia region.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians in designing and implementing automation solutions.
• Create schematics and documentation.

Your profile :

• Training in engineering or a technical background related to industrial/energy automation.
• Experience in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA solutions, preferably with WAGO devices.
• Proficiency in structured text (ST).
• Knowledge of industrial control and communication protocols (ModBus, IEC101, IEC102, IEC104) and automation systems.
• Experience with RTUs for protocol conversion, plant automation, power control, and SCADA functionalities.
• Knowledge of VBA scripting.
• Understanding of computer networking principles, including TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, routing, and switching technologies.
• Ability to implement and help define network and cybersecurity measures.
• Knowledge of firewall configuration (Fortigate/Palo Alto).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
