We are seeking an experienced Platform Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure smooth operation of the Starburst Enterprise Platform . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes deployments, scripting, automation, and data platform integrations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on enterprise-grade data platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Platform Support & Maintenance

• Provide technical support for issues related to the Starburst Enterprise Platform.
• Monitor and maintain platform performance, availability, and reliability using Helm charts.
• Perform regular updates, patching, and application housekeeping.

Deployment & Configuration

• Deploy and configure Starburst Enterprise Platform on Kubernetes using Helm charts and YAML files.
• Build and maintain Docker images to support scalable deployments.
• Use GitHub Actions to streamline CI / CD processes.

User Support & Onboarding

• Assist with onboarding users by setting up connections, catalogs, and data tools.
• Handle user queries and ensure timely incident resolution and triaging.

Scripting & Automation

• Develop automation scripts using Python and GitHub pipelines.
• Document workflows and ensure they align with business goals.

New Feature Integration

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement new features.
• Define technical requirements and assist in system integrations across data platforms.

Innovation & Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and implement innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the development of new tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in incident management and troubleshooting processes to resolve technical challenges swiftly.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments, Helm charts, and Docker image management.
• Proficiency in Python and YAML scripting.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI / CD pipelines.
