A leading Quantum Computing Software Company seeks an Engineering Manager / Director to oversee the Platform Cloud Infrastructure. This hybrid position involves building a scalable infrastructure, managing teams, and directly reporting to the CTO. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in DevOps, MLOps, and a strong foundation in cloud technologies like AWS and Azure.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and/or DevOps.
• 2+ years leading DevOps and/or platform teams.
• Experience leading MLOps/AI/Data engineers.

A fantastic opportunity for a skilled Engineering Manager / Director to join a leading Quantum Computing Software Company, working alongside their team of world leading experts who build solutions that tackle real life issues.

In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the Platform Cloud Infrastructure division of the business, supporting the team in San Sebastian, Spain. (Hybrid)

Responsibilities Include : Build a scalable DevOps and MLOps infrastructure.Accompany our transition to offering a SaaS product.Enable our business model which is fully driven AWS and Azure.Manage huge computational loads for a 100+ Engineer company.Building a robust team.Communicate with leadership. Report directly to the CTO.

Required Qualifications / SkillsMaster's degree in Computer Science or related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and / or DevOps.2+ years leading DevOps and / or platform teams in a technology-driven company.Leadership experienceHands-on experience in development, deployment and production environments for AI solutions (particularly LLMs)Experience leading MLOps / AI / Data engineersExcellent leadership skills. Ability to prioritize and manage urgency while delivering on long term goals is a must.Solid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies.Experience deploying SaaS solutions.Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.Extensive experience of AWS and Azure.Proven experience using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (i.e. Terraform, etc).
