Job Description:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer (x|f|m) for the Cloud & Developer Platform department at Sartorius Spain S.A. In this position, you will play a central role in developing our Developer Platform by integrating development team requirements into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and development tools. The role is full-time and can be performed remotely or on-site in Madrid.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, improving, and maintaining our internal developer platform to enhance developer experience and process efficiency.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline templates and providing best practices for developers.
• Building scalable, reliable Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Integrating developer tools like SonarQube and Snyk for seamless use by teams.
• Developing monitoring solutions with Grafana Cloud, Azure, and Open Telemetry.
• Collaborating with development teams to gather requirements and facilitate platform adoption.
• Addressing issues related to CI/CD, IaC, and development tools to ensure smooth workflows.

Qualifications include:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or software development.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Snyk, and familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Fluency in English.
