What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Tech Lead Platform Engineer specialized in Python and React to join our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) team. You will play a critical role in building and refining our IDP capabilities, leveraging your extensive experience in back-end development, cloud engineering, and stakeholder collaboration to drive success across our organization.

Location: 100% Remote in Spain only

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our internal developer platform, utilizing cloud services (mainly Azure and AWS) to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute a refined product backlog aligned with business goals.
• Use your expertise in Python and React to create robust backend and UI solutions, prioritizing performance and user experience.
• Leverage tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, etc., for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery improvements.
• Drive continuous improvements in system reliability, observability, and automation within a distributed environment.
• Engage with stakeholders to analyze needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed service-level expectations.

Mandatory requirements:

• Expertise in backend development with Python.
• Proven experience in UI/UX development using React, ideally with Material UI frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of Internal Developer Platform architecture, with experience in platforms like Backstage.
• Practical experience in cloud architecture, focusing on AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform and ArgoCD.
• Experience with continuous delivery tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including performance, scalability, and resiliency.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders on requirements analysis and product backlog management.
• Agile delivery experience, including familiarity with testing approaches like TDD.
