Job summary

VIAVI Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software for telecom customers worldwide. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitOps, ArgoCD, and Terraform across OpenStack, Proxmox, and bare metal.

Strong Linux admin skills, scripting in Python or Bash, and bilingual English/Spanish are required. You will build CI/CD pipelines, support cloud migrations, and collaborate with product and development teams on training and architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (K3S acceptable).
• Developing and maintaining Helm charts and Dockerfiles.
• Deploying solutions in OpenStack, Proxmox, or Bare Metal environments.
• Experience with GitOps, ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Programming knowledge in Python or Bash (Go/Java an asset).
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Ansible.
• CI/CD setup using Bamboo/Azure DevOps/GitLab Actions.
• Test development using Behave or similar BDD frameworks.
