VIAVI Solutions Spain, S.L. is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable telecom software. You will work across diverse infrastructure, implement GitOps, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery while collaborating with product teams.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), CI/CD (Bamboo/Azure DevOps/GitLab), and testing (Behave) experience, plus cloud and security tooling know‑how.

Formación

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment of Kubernetes or K3S.
• Developing and maintaining Helm Charts and Dockerfiles.
• Deploying solutions in OpenStack, Proxmox, and Bare Metal environments.
• Experience with GitOps using ArgoCD/FluxCD.
• Programming languages include Python, Bash; Go/Java is a plus.
• Strong Linux administration skills: network config, users, permissions, debugging.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Ansible.
• CI/CD setup using Bamboo, Azure DevOps, or GitLab Actions.
• Developing tests with a TDD/Behave approach.
• Bonus: cloud migration and modernization experience; cloud providers AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Broad knowledge of logging/monitoring: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools: X-Ray, Trivy, CIS, Nessus, Sealed Secrets, SOPS, OWASP, Renovate.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools for development tasks.
• Experience documenting microservices architectures and translating to implementation.

• Deploy and maintain solutions across varied infrastructure environments.
• Verify feasibility and validate solution options for requirements.
• Collaborate with product and development teams for training and knowledge transfer.
• Translate business requirements into system designs including high availability and DR.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, adapting messaging to the audience.
