Formación

  • Experiencia como Ingeniero de Observabilidad o rol similar.

JOB SUMMARY
We seek a skilled Observability Engineer experienced with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm, with deep knowledge of Observability features (logging, metrics, tracing, APM, etc.) in hybrid high-volume distributed platforms processing thousands of transactions per second. The ideal candidate has proven experience with open-source components like Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Logstash, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or similar. Our Observability Platform runs on Kubernetes and/or AWS EC2 instances, supporting all teams and customers using it. The role involves governance, best practices, and automation of ad-hoc features. You will be part of a talented IT team focused on implementing solutions for our product and technological challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement solutions aligned with product requirements and tech challenges.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability by design.
  • Follow the Definition of Done at the technical level.
  • Analyze technical trade-offs and determine key components and subsystems.
  • Identify weaknesses and failure points in Observability solutions and suggest improvements.
  • Support teams during major technological challenges.
  • Lead the definition of technical and functional monitoring.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Participate in the company's Communities of Practice.
  • Advocate for new Observability features; act as a technological evangelist.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience as Observability Engineer or similar, supporting monitoring, logging, tracing, and APM challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Logstash, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger.
  • Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Helm.
  • Experience with container-native applications in Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Linux systems administration skills.
  • Experience in distributed system environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or SAFe.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Python or Go is a plus.
  • Excellent technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
