JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Observability Engineer experienced with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm, and with deep knowledge of Observability features (logging, metrics, tracing, APM, etc.), ideally in hybrid high-volume distributed platforms handling thousands of transactions per second. Experience with open-source components such as Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Logstash, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or similar is required. Our components are deployed on Kubernetes and/or AWS EC2 instances, supporting internal teams. The role involves governance, best practices, automation, and collaboration within a talented IT team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement solutions for product requirements and technological challenges.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability by design.
  • Follow the Definition of Done at the technical level.
  • Analyze technical trade-offs and determine primary components.
  • Identify weaknesses and propose improvements in Observability solutions.
  • Support teams during technological challenges.
  • Lead the definition of technical and functional monitoring.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the company's Communities of Practice.
  • Advocate for new Observability features and act as a technological evangelist.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Experience as an Observability Engineer or similar role supporting monitoring, logging, tracing, and APM challenges.
  • Proficiency with Observability tools such as Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Logstash, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform and Helm.
  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes deployments.
  • Linux systems administration skills.
  • Experience in distributed systems environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Python or Go is a plus.
  • Excellent technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
